Ediţia cu numărul 56 a Premiilor Grammy va beneficia de reprezentaţia uneia dintre cele mai cunoscute artiste pop la nivel mondial. Madonna va concerta în cadrul show-ului, aceasta alăturându-se altor nume de seamă ale industriei muzicale internaţionale, cum ar fi Jay Z, Lorde sau Justin Timberlake.
Este oficial, Madonna va cânta la Premiile Grammy, au confirmat reprezentaţi The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, oraganizaţie a muzicienilor şi producătorilor din Statele Unite ale Americii care decernează în fiecare an premiile Grammy, fără a da alte detalii. Astfel, „regina muzicii pop“, se alătură unor nume precum Jay Z, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell Williams şi Kendrick Lamar.
The Recording Academy pregăteşte o seară specială pentru gala din 2014, cu scopul de a celebra împlinirea a 50 de ani de la apariţia legendară a trupei britanice The Beatles la televiziunea americană. De altfel, Paul McCartney şi Ringo Starr, foşti componenţi ai formaţiei Beatles, vor cânta în cadrul galei şi vor primi câte un premiu onorific pentru întreaga carieră din partea Fab Four, trupă care aduce un omagiu pentru The Beatles, cântând piese din repertoriul formaţiei, arată Reuters.
